One of the requirements of weight loss is to drink plenty of clean water to remove toxins from your body as well as to give a feeling of fullness so that you will eat less.
Your body processes need water for digestion, absorption, and elimination. You need water to prevent dehydration. The problem is that thirst is usually the last indicator of dehydration. Therefore, do not wait until you become thirsty before you drink water.
There is a misconception that one does not need to drink clean water as long as one gets sufficient water from fluids and foods. At best, sources of water from fruit, vegetables, and meat should provide only one-third of your daily intake of water. Alcohol, tea, coffee, and soda drinks are diuretics—which means they dehydrate rather than re-hydrate you.
You need more than eight 8-oz glasses of pure water for optimum health as well as for weight loss. If your body does not have enough water, your urine's color is yellowish. Drink more, not less, water.
Be careful when you buy bottled water—always read the labels! Tap water may be preferable to some bottled water, which can contain bacteria, nitrates, and other toxic chemicals.
My best recommendation is to get your personal water bottle filtration system. The state-of-the-art water filtration system comes in a handy bottle that you can carry with you wherever you go. This is especially ideal for traveling and outdoor activities. It saves you a lot of money: you no longer need to buy any bottled water. The personal water bottle filtration system allows you to refill the bottle 800 times to get clean water, free of odor, chemicals, such as lead, chlorine. It costs less than $30 a bottle that you can use for about a year. It is clean water at its best.
