Oprah Winfrey once told People magazine: "My greatest failure was in believing that the weight loss issue was just about weight."
She certainly hit the nail on the head: weight loss is not just about weight or calories. You need an all-round approach to weight problem.
1. You need to change your diet and lifestyle. Eat natural super foods—not their processed counterparts, which are loaded with additives and chemicals. They make foods more appetizing (artificially, of course), enticing you to eat more and gain more. In addition, they generate toxins, which not only damage your health but also may cause eating disorders down the road.
2. You need to remove toxins accumulated over the years of abuse and misuse of foods. Accumulated toxins prevent efficient elimination. Inefficient elimination means further accumulation of toxicity and weight gain. Take 12 Steps To A Complete Body Detox to detoxify your body for ultimate weight loss.
3. You need to regenerate your body. Your body is capable of natural healing, if given the opportunity. Replenish your body with natural food products from WholeFood Farmacy Club. Go organic. Develop your own organic garden, if you are ready to spend a little time gardening.
Looking at the number on the bathroom scale, counting calories, searching for a fad diet—all these only generate guilt and create disappointment and frustration. They never make you lose weight. You can never win your battle against the billion-dollar weight loss industry. You are the ultimate loser, and you lose everything—your money and your self-respect, except your weight.
From my own experience, I have maintained my ideal body weight (160 pounds/5'10") for the past forty years or so. The key is to eat natural foods, and eat only when you are hungry.
